Choose your path wisely....

Which path will you take, the road less traveled or the "scenic" route?

Psalms 1:
1. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2. But his delight is in the law of the Lord ; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

 3. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

4. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

 5. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

The Plight of the Negro: How Can We Change It?

I decided I wanted to compose a post asking and answering questions I think would be most helpful for those who may be wondering why there is so much violence and turmoil going on with Black people in America (and other places as well).

Hopefully this post will cause you to ask yourself certain questions and maybe even reconsider doing some of the things you may normally do...

Either way, I hope it provokes change...for the better (of you and our people as a nation).

DisclaimerI did not want to use any graphic pictures of the deceased (lynching, murders, massacres, etc.) in this post out of respect for others, so I'm hopeful you'll get the severity of our situation (and the overall message i'm trying to convey) with the illustrations I chose instead.*

Question: What is happening to the Black (or Negro) nation and how can we change it?

Answer: From the outside looking in, it seems as if history is beginning to repeat itself and the only way we would be able to change it, is to first change ourselves. Unfortunately, it would be a grave mistake [for us] if we think our situation will change, yet we remain the same.  Most people would consider it insanity, in its truest form. Furthermore, many of us may not have known that in order to change our reoccurring situation, we must look into why it keeps occurring in the first place. We must discover the root cause.

Question: Why are the Negro people (including those all throughout the world) under such heavy persecution and scrutiny? In addition, why is the racial tension rising, especially in America, against them as well?

Answer: Here is the foundation of the problem; Negro people (all over the world) have no clue who they are because they've been taught, by their oppressors/captors, a lie (i.e. Black people nationalities are Africans, Americans, Caribbeans etc.). By doing so, we were forced to (and we now gladly) follow the doctrines and gods of other nations…
·         Deut. 28:64-65 And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone. And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:
·         Psalms 83:2-4 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

Moreover, the Most High, Heavenly Father chose negro people as his own peculiar treasure/people and he warned our ancestors (Israelites) what would become of them/us if they would not follow his laws/commandments.
·         Deut 28:49-50 The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young:
·         Deut 28:25-26 The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. And thy carcase shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away.
·         Deu 28:63 And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.
·         Deu28:45-46 Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee: And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.
Our ancestors chose not to follow the laws and commandments; consequently (like He promised) the Most High cursed them which then meant we were going to be/are cursed too.
·         Num14:18The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation

Question: Is it possible to reverse the curse? How do we change our oppression?

Answer: Yes, our persecution is changeable; first, we must repent! Repenting is the only way things will change for us (for good)! We must turn back to the Most High and follow his laws and commandments. We must teach our children to walk in his ways. We must ask for forgiveness for our sins and the sins of our ancestors. We must let go all of the false gods we’ve been taught to love and worship. We must return to the Creator of the universe, our Father, our Most High. It is imperative that we do this...our salvation, protection, and blessings are heavily dependent upon doing so.

·         Deu 30:1-9 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee, 2 And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; 3 That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. 6And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. 7 And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee8 And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day. 9 And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:

Question: What will happen if I choose not to follow the laws?

Answer: In the end, we all have a choice to make; isn't that what life mainly consists of...various choices needing to be made on a daily basis. As for the children of the Most High, if we choose not to follow His commandments, things will get worse for us (or for those who continue to choose not to listen to the Most High). It's very simple and to be completely honest, it doesn't matter whether or not you, me, she, he, they, and/or them believe it or not, the truth is the truth...and the "proof is in the pudding". The Most High will not allow any of our wrong-doings to go unnoticed (not for long)… and we will not prosper (truly prosper)...
·         Leviticus 26: 27-28 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me; Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
·         Leviticus 26:33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

In conclusion: I hope this post has helped in some sort of way, I know not many will believe the words I have typed or the Bible from which I use, but if you are feeling some type of tug in your heart then I implore you to take this post serious...It is time, right NOW, to repent and live a life that is in alignment with His word and more importantly His laws.
Repent now and watch how things change!

True Words Of Wisdom

Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths. She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.

Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man. O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things. For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

10 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold11 For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.
12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. 13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.

15 By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. 16 By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.

17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. 19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: 21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

22 The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. 23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. 24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. 25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: 26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: 28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: 29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: 30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; 31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.

34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. 35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord.

36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

Why Do We Love The Wrong Things?

I found this picture while looking for some artwork for my previous blog post, Don't Fall Victim, if you haven't checked it out click on the link and take a gander!

I think it is very interesting that majority of Negro actresses are portrayed in this light (and willingly accept roles like those mentioned above).

Why do we love the wrong things? Why do we support these type of shows that portray us in such a negative, stereotypical way? Why can't our multi-talented actors/actresses gain better roles than the ones mentioned above (or slave/gangster/sidekick roles)? And when they do, why don't we support them?

We, Negro people, as a nation must ask ourselves these questions...and be real with our answers & ourselves. It's not that we love to see our people in this light but we are being forcefully fed/programmed/conditioned to "enjoy" these types of "entertainment" (yet many people re-enact what they see on t.v., in real life). People learn vicariously through others and unfortunately, we are learning all of the wrong things through T.V./media.

Wake up people!

I hope this picture/post has sparked some type of interest on this matter...it is one that certainly deserves a second look.

Dig Deeper than top surface!

Don't Fall Victim...

Is it me, or does it seems as if adultery, whoring, and promiscuity (by both sexes) are the new things to do now-a-days…Think on that.

Even more, we have plenty of various music (RnB, rap, etc.), television shows (Scandal, Being MaryJane, Love &Hip Hop, etc.), and movies glorifying these dangerous acts as entertainment, a way-of-life, and (seemingly at times) the new normal…

*Were you aware that people learn information/behaviors vicariously? It’s a very effective way of altering people’s behaviors and mindsets…If you weren’t aware, I hope you aren’t surprised when I say many of the people behind the media programs you watch certainly do.*

With that being, I can only hope that the verses below speak to you in a very powerful way…
Do not fall victim to the snares laid out against you!

Proverb 7
My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.

Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman: That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.

For at the window of my house I looked through my casement, And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding, Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house, In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night:

10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart. 11 (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house: 12 Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.)

13 So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him, 14 I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows. 15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.

16 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt. 17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. 18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves. 19 For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey: 20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.

21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him. 22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; 23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.

24 Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. 25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. 26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. 27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

Who's Really Who? (Pt.1)

DISCLAIMER:
To better help you digest this information I'll break it into 2parts.

Who are the true Natives of the Americas

Have you ever asked yourself that question before? I know I hadn't! That is, until a little while ago.

When I was younger I never speculated anything as strange because I was always taught that "Black" people came from Africa and the "Native American" Indians were in the Americas first... In other words, this was their land and we ("African-Americans") were stolen from our home.

Supposedly...

Now, I want you take a look at some of these pictures... never have I heard any media coverage on them, nor are they really spoken about by majority of historians; I wonder why...?

The picture to the left is an Indigenous Chickasaw female with her child. Notice the date to the bottom left of 1832.

Columbia, shown full-length standing to left, holding a standard showing the stars and stripes and an eagle, looking at two Indigenous males wearing feathered head-dresses. circa 1798 .

Wow....if the Natives of the land were dark skinned, Negro like peoples then who are these people and what's their true origins??

What's even more strange is that there is a video clip of a female historian bringing information to light about dark skinned Indians, she even wondered why no one has once made light of this information (and why mainstream has no clue about it).

You're Invited!

Baby Showers! A wonderful time to have family and friends around to celebrate the impending birth of a beautiful baby girl or boy. It's a time where gifts are given, games are played, and the mommy-to-be is showered with adoration. A real fun time and memorable experience.

But...

What are the origins of baby showers? Where did the tradition come from? Is it really as innocent and sweet as it seem?

*I had to asked myself, are ANY of the holidays/traditions we're taught to celebrate innocent and sweet?...I think NOT!*

Now, I gotta put this out there... I would be a true hypocrite if I said I have never had, or even recently contemplated having, a baby shower. I definitely think they are really fun and very memorable; however I decided in my heart/mind that I would do what is right in the eyes of the Lord...with that said, let's keep going.

Now, if you've been following my blog you know that I've been researching/posting videos disclosing the truth about all of the major pagan holidays celebrated in our society. Well just like I have disclosed the truth on all of the mainstream holidays and traditions, I am also going to disclose the truth about the seemingly sweet and innocent baby shower celebration.

Here are a two excerpts, from an article and the book of Jasher, I hope will help you gain more clarity on whether or not followers of the Heavenly Father should partake in such ceremonies/traditions.

*The links for both websites will be at the bottom of the page*

Ancient Egypt
While the ancient Egyptians did not hold baby showers as we know them today, they did observe rituals associated with birth and pregnancy. However, the details surrounding the rituals of childbirth and pregnancy are difficult to study in detail because they were essentially female-centered events. In addition, as in many cultures, both ancient and modern, Egyptian celebrations associated with childbirth took place after the birth. Soon after the infant’s arrival, the mother and child in the Old Kingdom were secluded so that the pollution of birth could be contained and eliminated, often for 14 days. There is also evidence that certain domestic rituals took place after 40 days (Johnston 2004).
Though the nature of these rituals is unclear, they most likely involved visiting temples or local shrines and included the ritualized disposal of the after-birth, such as the umbilical cord and the placenta. Archaeological evidence from the site of the New Kingdom village of Deir el-Medina mentions “the festival of so-and-so’s” daughter, which may refer to a gathering or celebration after the birth during which the baby was named to mark its identity and suggest rights and privileges (Johnston 2004). These rituals of inclusion underscored broader identities and membership in the larger community.
Ancient Greece
Like the Egyptians, ancient Greeks celebrated pregnancy after the birth of the child. When the child was born, both the mothers and attendants shouted oloyge (a strident noise) to signal the labor was over and peace had arrived. Immediately after the umbilical cord was cut, the baby and mother were bathed, though they would remain impure for 10 days and their helpers for five days (Gelis 1991).
On the fifth or seventh day after birth, the child would be welcomed by a ceremony called Amphidromia (Running Round) in which the father would walk around the hearth several times, symbolizing the infant’s integration into the household. In a ritual called Dekate (Tenth Day) the mother would return to her place in society marked by a meal attended by her close relatives and friends. (In modern Iran, family members still visit the mother on the tenth day after birth.) Mothers would dedicate gifts to the main birth-goddess Eileithyia (whose sanctuary was found at the edge of the city), such as girdles, dresses, and other objects associated with birth (Johnston 2004). For many women, giving birth was the only way for them to gain recognition in a male world, and childless marriages ran a greater risk for divorce.
.
The following excerpts are from the Book of Jasher:

"1 And it was in the night that Abram was born, that all the servants of Terah, and all the wise men of Nimrod, and his conjurors came and ate and drank in the house of Terah, and they rejoiced with him on that night. 2 And when all the wise men and conjurors went out from the house of Terah, they lifted up their eyes toward heaven that night to look at the stars, and they saw, and behold one very large star came from the east and ran in the heavens, and he swallowed up the four stars from the four sides of the heavens. 3 And all the wise men of the king and his conjurors were astonished at the sight, and the sages understood this matter, and they knew its import. 4 And they said to each other, This only betokens the child that has been born to Terah this night, who will grow up and be fruitful, and multiply, and possess all the earth, he and his children for ever, and he and his seed will slay great kings, and inherit their lands. 5 And the wise men and conjurors went home that night, and in the morning all these wise men and conjurors rose up early, and assembled in an appointed house. 6 And they spoke and said to each other, Behold the sight that we saw last night is hidden from the king, it has not been made known to him. 7 And should this thing get known to the king in the latter days, he will say to us, Why have you concealed this matter from me, and then we shall all suffer death; therefore, now let us go and tell the king the sight which we saw, and the interpretation thereof, and we shall then remain clear. 8 And they did so, and they all went to the king and bowed down to him to the ground, and they said, May the king live, may the king live. 9 We heard that a son was born to Terah the son of Nahor, the prince of thy host, and we yesternight came to his house, and we ate and drank and rejoiced with him that night."

-If you are familiar with the story (detailed heavily in the Book of Jasher) of Abram, you would know that his father, Terah, was Nimrod's "right hand man" and he happily lived like all of the Babylonian's did in that time. In the excerpts above it stated that Terah rejoiced, ate, and drank with his friends/(family) and servants. If you are familiar with the story of Terah, you would know that he was a pagan and worshiped false gods...but later in his life, he denounced his former ways of living and lived uprightly until the time of his death.

By now I hope you're asking yourself..."Do I really think the Father wants me to partake in things of this nature? Why aren't any birth celebrations noted in the Bible, especially in the old testament?"

Now please understand, I get where people are coming from when they say or think baby showers (birthdays, etc.) are harmless celebrations (I use to celebrate them too). However, if you are a true believer of the Word of God, you will dedicate yourself to pursuing what is truth, learning what it is He really wants you to do/follow, and actually living in a way that is in accordance to His word.

Hopefully, I have peaked your interest in this subject. As always, please research these things on your own and allow the Father to be the one leading your life. I truly believe He will show you the way to truth...the question is, are you going to accept it?

Virtuous Woman

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
 (V. 10-11)

She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
 (V. 12-13)

She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. (V. 14-15)

She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
(V. 16-18)

She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. (V. 19-21)

She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
(V. 22-24)

Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
(V. 25-27)

Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
 (V. 28-29)

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

(V. 30-31)

Decisions (Original Poetry)

Decisions

Straddling the fence, a mind divided by two
Wanting to go this way and over there too.

I'm straddling the fence, though I know the obvious truth
Time to let go of my wants, time to connect deeper to You.

Who Do You Really Belong To?

Here's a video I wanted to share with those individuals who still attend a Christian church (or any church that supposedly preach about Jesus Christ).

There are so many church goers that don't go against what "pastor" say, so many people do not even dare question anything "pastor" do... I know this is fact because when I was a Christian I did the same thing(s) and I saw countless other people following suit...

This video is part 1 of a 3 part series; I am only sharing the 1st part because it's the only one i've watched so far. It's very short (about 16 mins) but thorough, thought-provoking, and enlightening.

If you'd like to watch the other parts as well, I'm sure there's a link somewhere on the YT page.

(Here is the link just in case the video fails to show on my post):
